LEWIS boosts global media team with hire of leading editor

~ The Inquirer journalist joins agency to lead tech media strategy ~

LEWIS PR has hired Ian Williams, former Deputy Editor at The Inquirer. Williams, who has been a journalist since 2005, will join the London office of the agency as Head of Technology Media.

Williams' role within the media team will include developing creative campaigns, drafting compelling content for traditional and social media purposes, and coordinating media pitches.

I´m looking forward to working agency-side for the first time in my career. As a journalist I covered a wide range of topics including security, networking, telecoms and mobile. I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to benefit the wide portfolio of tech clients I´ll be working with at LEWIS.

Before joining The Inquirer in October 2009, Williams worked as First Looks Editor at sister site V3.co.uk. Prior to that he was Reviews Editor for The Inquirer.
