Hugely-loved British homeware brand, Emma Bridgewater – known for its quirky and innovative designs including polka dots, birds and union jacks – has chosen LEWIS PR to promote its 25th birthday campaign across print, broadcast and social media, as well as public affairs. Emma Bridgewater becomes the launch client for LEWIS’ new Consumer and Travel Practice, headed by Julia Perowne. Other clients, in the travel and transport sector, are expected to be announced shortly.
LEWIS will begin working with Emma Bridgewater from 1st March ahead of the birthday in May.
Paul Charles, Chief Operating Officer at LEWIS PR, who spearheaded Virgin Atlantic’s "Still Red Hot” 25th birthday campaign, commented: “We are over the moon that Emma Bridgewater has found the LEWIS team to be just their cup of tea. We can’t wait to start on what is going to be an innovative campaign aimed at raising Emma Bridgewater’s overall brand profile, especially in the social media arena. It is a true showcase of British design talent and craftsmanship, packed full of humour and traditional values, and we’ll be ensuring consumers get to know it just that little bit better."
Our 25th birthday is a real opportunity for us to elevate our brand and product from its current strong position. We were impressed with the depth and breadth of the strategy and ideas from LEWIS PR and we look forward to a very successful partnership.
Emma Bridgewater was founded in 1985 and is now one of the largest employers in Stoke-on-Trent. Each piece of pottery is made by hand in a Victorian factory, following the designs created individually by Emma Bridgewater and her husband Matthew Rice.
